Job summary

Achievers Early College Prep Charter School seeks a middle school and high school nurse to serve grades 6-9. The role requires a compassionate, knowledgeable professional with experience caring for diverse student populations and applying culturally sensitive practices.

The nurse will perform hearing and vision screenings, treat students and staff, prepare incident reports, develop care plans for students with ongoing conditions, administer medications, and monitor immunization records,

Qualifications

• A minimum degree of Bachelor's of Science in Nursing or Registered Nurse License is required.
• Candidate possessing a Standard School Nurse Certificate (CSN) for the state of NJ and will have all professional licenses and required training up to date is highly preferred.
• Experience working in collaboration with other nurses and with students.
• Demonstrated compliance experience required. Managed an audit process is highly preferred.
• Achievers is a public charter school and the successful candidate will be a pensioned, 10-month employee with benefits.

Achievers Early College Prep Charter School (AECP) is New Jersey's first public charter school for students in middle school and high school that provides them with the unique opportunity to pursue one of four STEAM pathways (Health Sciences, Digital Media, Audio Engineering and Cisco Computer Networking). About The Role

Achievers Early College Prep Charter School seeks a hard-working, compassionate and knowledgeable individual to serve as a middle school and high school nurse for grades 6-9.
