Job summary

De Soto Unified School District is seeking a School Nurse 1.0 FTE for Lexington Trails Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year. The nurse will work with the Health Services Coordinator to promote student health and coordinate a district-wide health program.

Starting salaries depend on the degree held: ADN-RN $47,454, BSN-RN $49,737, MSN-RN $53,126, with a comprehensive benefits package offered by USD 232. TB testing and a pre-employment physical are required.

Qualifications

• Support the School Nurse and Health Services Coordinator in promoting student health across physical, social, and emotional well-being.

Purpose: The School Nurse along with the Health Services Coordinator helps students attain an optimum level of physical, social and emotional health. In order to coordinate a comprehensive student health program, the School Nurse must work closely with the District Nurse Coordinator, staff and administration of the district.

Starting Salary: Commensurate with degrees held and years of experience

ADN-RN Starting Salary: $47,454

BSN-RN Starting Salary: $49,737

MSN-RN Starting Salary: $53,126

Requirements: All employees must have a current TB test (Tuberculosis). If you've had a recent TB Test (less than 12 months ago) we can accept a copy of your test results. If it's been more than 1 year ago, you will be required to obtain a new test. Employees are responsible for the cost of the test. Must submit a pre-employment physical prior to first day of work.
