Job summary

The Harrisburg School District seeks a qualified School Nurse to join Melrose Elementary School under the HEA contract. You will provide medical care and support to students, monitor health conditions, and collaborate with teachers and families to promote a safe, healthy school environment.

Applicants must hold PA School Nurse certification or PA RN licensure, and CPR for health care providers. Strong communication with students, staff, and parents is essential.

Job description

Minimum Qualifications:
All applicants must possess a valid PAcertificate in the area of School Nursingwith a current professional PA Registered Nurse licensure; or a valid PA Registered Nurse Licensure; experience in working in pediatric care is a plus; valid CPR Certification for health care provider is required; satisfactory work experience; excellent oral and written communication skills; and the ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
