Job summary

Orange Schools is seeking a dedicated school nurse to safeguard the health and well-being of students and staff on campus. You will perform health screenings, provide emergency first aid, and care for those who are ill or injured during the school day.

You will also maintain health records and promote sound health practices, collaborating with families and school leaders to support safety and learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN license in New Jersey.
• Current CPR and Professional Rescuer certifications.
• School Nurse certification or credential as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform health screenings and provide health services for students and staff.
• Offer emergency first aid and care for the ill or injured on campus.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure documentation.
• Instruct students and staff in sound health practices and wellness.

Job Description/Summary:

Serves as the primary advocate for the health and well being of students and staff within the school. Responsibilities include health screenings and services, emergency first aid, the care of those who are ill and injured while in the school, maintenance of health records, and instruction in sound health practices.

• Holds a license as a registered professional nurse (RN) in New Jersey.
• Hold and maintain a current CPR certification and Professional Rescuer Certification.
• As per negotiated salary guide
• Commensurate with education and experience

Starting salary begins at $73,289.00

Compensation package includes the following comprehensive benefits:
