Qualifications

• RN license required (New Jersey) and CPR/First Aid certification.
• Experience with children or adolescents preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and recordkeeping skills; Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat students who become ill or injured during the school day.
• Maintain health records and document visits, treatments, and health concerns.
• Administer medications according to district policy and applicable regulations.
• Develop and implement individualized health plans when needed.
• Support students with chronic health conditions.
• Train appropriate staff on emergency procedures when necessary.
• Communicate with parents/guardians and healthcare providers.
• Complete health screenings and immunization compliance.
• Maintain accurate health records and monitor illness trends.
• Support emergency drills and crisis response.
• Provide health education.
