Now Hiring Part-Time Non-CDL Van Drivers for Berrien RESA School District, Berrien Springs, MI

As a First Student Part-Time Non-CDL Van Driver, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students you transport. You will be there at the start of the students’ day with before-school pickup and at the end with an afternoon shift to bring students safely back home.

No experience as a van driver is required! We’re proud to train you with our industry-leading technology to help you succeed.

Your Day Will Include:

1. A split shift, which means an early morning before-school pickup and an after-school drop-off with a few free hours in between.
2. Additional hours gained through trips and charters when available.

Van Driver Benefits:

1. Earn up to $17.00 / hour.
2. No experience necessary! We provide paid training to help you succeed.

About the Van Driver Position:

1. Join our team of professional drivers dedicated to getting students to and from school safely.
2. Utilize industry-leading technology to assist with daily routes.
3. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
4. Assist students with boarding and exiting the van to promote a safe and welcoming environment.

Van Driver Qualifications:

1. Strong verbal communication skills.
2. Must be at least 21 years old.
3. Valid driver’s license for a minimum of three years.
4. Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test and physical examination.
5. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
