Job summary

Dallas Independent School District is seeking a reliable MPV Bus Driver for the 26/27 school year. The driver is responsible for the safety and conduct of passengers, operates vehicles according to schedules, and must maintain a Class ‘C’ driver’s license. Qualified candidates should possess effective communication skills and a minimum high school diploma. Flexibility, punctuality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks are essential. Position entails ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and maintaining vehicle standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (ex: G.E.D.) preferred.
• Maintain a minimum of a Class “C” drivers’ license issued by the State of Texas.
• Must be able to pass DOT alcohol and drug tests and annual physical exam.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and conduct of passengers during transport.
• Operate bus according to assigned schedules and routes.
• Document and report discipline problems to the transportation supervisor.
• Maintain a clean bus and conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
