Job summary

PSI is hiring a Medical Assistant for a school clinic at Green Middle School. The role follows a predictable daytime schedule, Monday–Friday, with no nights, weekends, or summer work required, supporting student health needs and school staff.

You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, and participate in diabetes care and preventive protocols. Join a collaborative team focused on whole-child health and education.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program (Required).
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration and communicable disease prevention.
• Experience with diabetes care a plus (training available).
• Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day health support in the school clinic.
• Administer medications and monitor student health needs.
• Monitor vital signs and assist with basic healthcare procedures.
• Support communicable disease prevention protocols.
• Assist with diabetes care and other chronic health needs (training provided as needed).
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers.
• Maintain documentation and confidentiality (HIPAA/FERPA compliance).
