Colleton County School District is seeking a Food Service Worker to prepare and serve nutritious meals for students and staff under supervision. You will maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area, operate kitchen equipment, and assist with inventory and logging as required.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, HACCP training, and a valid driver’s license. Previous school nutrition or institutional food service experience is advantageous and you will work as part of the School

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; HACCP training required; valid driver's license.
Experience in institutional food service is preferred; ability to follow procedures.
Ability to operate POS and handle cash for meals.

Responsabilités

Prepare, cook, and serve meals for students and staff according to menus and quantities.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas and equipment.
Monitor cooking times/temperatures and stocking of supplies; assist with inventory.
Operate point of sale system to collect monies for daily meals as needed.
Assist in setting up serving lines and replenishing food bars.
