Job summary

The Exchange is hiring a School Meal Program Menu Planner to design and evaluate menus that meet regulatory guidelines and deliver high nutritional value for students. You will monitor performance, acceptance, and compliance while supporting reviews, budgeting, and quality practices.

Ideal candidates hold a nutrition-related degree or an RD/RDN credential, with experience in coordinated programs or relevant clinical components, and a commitment to operational excellence in school meal services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, Food Service Management, Nutrition Education, Institutional Management, or related science.
• AND-approved coordinated undergraduate program, internship, or clinical component plus one year of experience.
• Professional registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).

Responsibilities

• Plan and evaluate menus to meet regulatory guidelines and maintain high nutritional standards
• Monitor menu performance, student acceptance, and compliance requirements
• Support internal reviews, financial management, and quality control initiatives
• Help ensure operational excellence and compliance with all applicable standards

Education

Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, Food Service Management, Nutrition Education, Institutional Management, or related science

AND-approved coordinated undergrad program, internship, or clinical component + 1 year experience

RD/RDN professional registration
