Job summary

Uplift Education seeks a CNP Driver to ensure safe and efficient transportation of meals and supplies to school locations. You will load, deliver, and help with daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and USDA guidelines.

The role requires a Texas driver’s license with a clean record, a current Food Handler Permit, and the ability to operate kitchen equipment and assist with meal preparation. This is a full-time on-site position with the school nutrition program.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; may substitute equivalent work experience.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with clean driving record; pass MVR.
• Current Food Handler Permit prior to employment (5 days before).
• Able to operate motorized kitchen and delivery equipment and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing orders for delivery to vended kitchens.
• Load and unload food and supplies; transport to kitchens and maintain temperature.
• Drive delivery vehicles to designated areas in a timely manner; ensure food safety.
• Assist in daily kitchen tasks including cleaning, inventory, and basic food prep.
• Promote teamwork and interact professionally with scholars and staff.
