Job summary

The Pompton Lakes School District is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our maintenance team. You will perform general maintenance, assist with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other tasks, and conduct routine inspections to keep facilities in good condition.

Responsibilities include maintaining school buildings, equipment, and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly manner, setting up and moving furniture, and responding to maintenance requests.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general building maintenance, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and district policies.
