Job summary

Paradise Christian School and Development Center is seeking a dependable General Handyman to maintain a safe, clean, and well‑maintained environment for students, staff, and visitors. This is a full‑time role with hands‑on maintenance, minor repairs, and outdoor upkeep.

You will perform preventive maintenance, operate hand and power tools, and collaborate with a family‑like team to ensure facilities meet safety and health standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Florida Driver's License.
• Experience in general maintenance or handyman work.
• Ability to read manuals and safety instructions in English.
• Organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
• Team player with a family-like approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building and property maintenance.
• Complete minor repairs: painting, carpentry, plumbing.
• Maintain classrooms, offices, playgrounds, and grounds.
• Landscape, mow, edge, trim, weed, rake, and blow grounds.
• Pressure wash exterior areas.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain work areas.
• Assemble furniture and playground equipment.
• Move furniture and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and identify repairs.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations.
