Alamance-Burlington School System in Graham, NC is seeking a Plumber for the Maintenance department to install, repair and maintain plumbing fixtures in school buildings. The role requires on-call availability and a Monday–Friday schedule with flexible hours as scheduled.

The Plumber reports to the Director of Maintenance and will perform tasks from pipe fitting to water heater repairs, while adhering to safety standards and district procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Considerable plumbing experience
• Equivalent combination of training and experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities

Responsabilités

• Supervise installation, repair and maintenance of water, plumbing and heating systems
• Plan, schedule and supervise plumbers when assigned
• Maintain and repair water wells and wastewater facilities, and file state reports
• Repair hot water heaters, pipes, pumps and fixtures as needed
• Ensure safe operation of fixtures and distribution systems
