Job summary

Downingtown Area School District is seeking a Full-time Maintenance - Electrician to install, maintain, service, and repair electrical systems across district buildings. The role supports year-round operations with a 40-hour weekly schedule and a pay rate of $32.00 per hour, with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, plus trade school training and relevant experience. Knowledge of NEC and blueprints is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade school diploma, certificate, or equivalent, plus two years' related experience.
• Maintain certifications and licenses necessary for job-related skill.
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Works independently and with others to accomplish assignments and work orders.
• Performs electrical, ventilating repairs, and equipment maintenance.
• Performs general snow removal, and salting (de-icing).
• Completes general maintenance tasks to accommodate school functions and events.
