Job summary

Jefferson County Public Schools is seeking a Lunchroom Supervisor to help supervise elementary and middle school students during the 182-day lunch period. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, orderly, and nutritious mealtime environment and encouraging healthy food choices while modeling good manners.

6.5 hours per day. In this position you will also perform clerical duties as assigned and collaborate with cafeteria staff to ensure smooth daily operations and compliance with health and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Knowledge of general rules of health and safety
• Ability to follow directions
• Relates well with children and has past group experience
• Works cooperatively with others
• Word Processing skills
• Accurate information entry on the online application; falsification can lead to exclusion from consideration and/or termination

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunch to ensure a safe, relaxing lunchtime.
