Job summary

Lexington County School District One is seeking a Food Service Operator to assist in preparing and serving meals for students. You will follow approved recipes, manage serving lines, and ensure food safety and proper storage of leftovers.

The role requires adherence to district policies and USDA guidelines, maintaining cleanliness, and operating kitchen equipment. 7 hours per day, 183 days per year, under supervision of the Food Service Manager.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to follow approved recipes or package directions.
• Prior food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares breakfast and/or lunch portions in proper quantities.
• Maintains sanitary conditions in assigned work areas.
• Operates food service equipment and cash registers as assigned.
• Keeps simple records and reports as directed.
