Job summary

Sun Valley Academy in Avondale, AZ is hiring a part-time Food Service Worker to supervise students during lunch periods. Hours are 10:15 A.M. - 1:30 P.M. Monday-Friday, with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour.

You will help check rosters, open containers for younger students, clean the multipurpose room, and assist with moving items as needed. This position requires a high school diploma and an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience working with children.
• Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Check students' names off of the rosters.
• Open containers for lower grade students.
• Wipe tables, sweep, mop, and dispose of waste to maintain cleanliness of the multipurpose room during the lunch periods.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with some carrying, pushing, and/or pulling.
