Job summary

Lunchtime Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dependable Kitchen Helper to support our school food service program at Westwood School District. In this role you’ll assist with prep, serve students, and keep the kitchen clean and organized to ensure smooth meal service.

You will follow simple recipes, maintain food safety, and communicate needs with your team. This is a daytime, Monday–Friday position ideal for someone who values teamwork and steady hours.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills for teamwork and independent work.
• Ability to follow recipes and measure ingredients for batch prep.
• Dependability and integrity in a school lunch setting.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform standing/bending tasks.

Responsibilities

• Help prep and serve menu items, keep station stocked, follow serving-size guidelines.
• Follow simple recipes and keep kitchen, storage areas, and equipment clean using FIFO.
• Maintain food safety and complete basic logs and production records.
• Communicate supply needs, feedback, and updates to the team and supervisors.
• Stock and serve items during meal service and assist with prep lists and freezer pulls.
• Support teammates, train new staff, and assist when others are out.
