Whitsons Culinary Group in Hartford VT is hiring a Food Service Worker to support our school nutrition team. You will prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff, set up stations, and follow food safety procedures in a fast-paced kitchen.

This role offers family-friendly hours, weekends/evenings off, and on-the-job training. No experience required; we provide training and opportunities to grow while helping kids stay healthy and fueled for learning.

Qualifications

• Must complete all Whitsons and government-mandated training as required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional food service experience preferred but not required.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff
• Set up and clean serving stations and kitchen areas
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Create a positive and welcoming mealtime experience
