Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group in Shelton, CT is seeking a School Food Service Worker to join our nutrition team. This role follows a schedule aligned with the school day, typically Monday–Friday with no nights or weekends, offering a family-friendly work-life balance.

You will prep, portion and serve meals, maintain clean stations, and follow food safety procedures while contributing to a positive mealtime experience for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and read English sufficient to understand and perform job assignments, follow recipes, and comply with safety requirements.
• Must complete all Whitsons and government-mandated training as required.

Responsibilities

• Prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff.
• Set up and clean serving stations and kitchen areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
