Job summary

Fox C-6 School District in Arnold, Missouri is seeking a part-time Food Service – 3 Hour Cook to support the school cafeteria operations. You will prepare and serve meals, follow HACCP practices, and maintain clean, safe work areas while providing friendly customer service to students and staff.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, sanitation certification, TB-free status, and annual USDA training. Excellent teamwork and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Sanitation certification (Safe Food Handlers or NRA) is required.
• Tuberculosis-free certification is required.
• USDA continuing education/training 4 hours annually.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve daily menu items in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
• Produce nutritious foods following standardized recipes and ensure quality.
• Accurately serve correct portions and maintain production records.
• Identify, monitor and ensure reimbursable meals meet requirements.
• Record lunch transactions and balance cash drawer when cashing.
• Promote school breakfast and lunch programs and engage staff.
• Maintain HACCP records and ensure safe food practices.
