Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a friendly Cashier for a regular daytime shift in Fredonia, Wisconsin. You will handle POS transactions, assist in food prep, light stocking, and keep the dining area tidy while creating meaningful interactions with customers.

The role emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and a positive customer experience, with uniforms and PPE provided and opportunities for advancement within a chef-driven food service management company.

Qualifications

• Food Service experience preferred.
• Ability to do simple arithmetic to count money and make change.
• Understanding of basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with eye contact and a smile.
• Maintains the point of sale, entering all items accurately and efficiently.
• Assists in meal preparation including making salads, deli sandwiches, cleaning fruits and vegetables.
• Stocks and prepares condiments and utensils.
• Contributes to a positive work environment.
• Follows food safety requirements and guidelines.
• Self-starter, able to work independently.
• Performs additional related duties as assigned by leadership.

In addition to running point of sale, you will assist the team in food prep, some light stocking, and cleaning. But most importantly, you will create meaningful interactions with our customers.
