Position Overview

Location: NRHEG Schools (travel to multiple locations required)

Work Hours: Flexible scheduling between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM

Work Mode: Combination of in-person and remote (telehealth sessions, if available)

Employment Types

  • Salaried: 40 hours per week
  • Hourly: Up to 40 hours per week (overtime requires approval)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individual, family, and/or group skills-based services to clients of all ages.
  • Work within a school setting and maintain client productivity standards.
  • Apply evidence-based strategies with professionalism and cultural sensitivity.
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation.
  • Participate in supervision, trainings, and continuing education.
  • Collaborate with schools, families, and external providers.
  • Champion Fernbrook’s mission and uphold organizational policies.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance (for community roles)
  • Successful criminal background check
  • Must meet Minnesota Statute qualifications as either:
    • A Mental Health Practitioner, or
    • A Clinical Trainee
Preferred

  • Experience working with diverse populations
  • Bilingual skills

Physical Demands

  • Extended periods of computer-based work and sitting
  • Ability to engage actively with clients
  • Occasionally lift items up to 15 pounds

Team Coordination

You will work collaboratively with other Fernbrook staff members who serve shared clients, ensuring integrated, high-quality care.
