Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Perris, CA on a contract-full-time basis. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop IHP/IEP for students needing social work support in the school setting.

The ideal candidate holds an MSW and an active social work license (LCSW or equivalent) and brings experience with children and families in educational or clinical environments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a closely related behavioral health field
• Hold a current, active, and unrestricted clinical social work license recognized by the applicable state licensing authority, such as LCSW, LICSW, LCSW-C, or an equivalent credential
• Hold any additional credentials, certifications, licenses, or authorizations required for the assigned school-based role
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in educational, clinical, or community settings preferred
• Knowledge of child and adolescent development, crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and behavioral health practices
• Strong interpersonal, communication, assessment, documentation, and case management skills
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Ability to comply with FERPA and HIPAA requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
