Job summary

Camden County Technical Schools Pennsauken Campus seeks a Library Technician for a full-time, 12-month position. The role supports instruction, maintains books and materials, and assists with student activities across clerical, managerial, and instructional duties.

Requirements include 2 years of higher education or an Associate’s degree, a county substitute certificate, background checks, and NJ residency or relocation willingness.

Qualifications

• Two years of higher education earning 30 or more credit hours; or an Associate’s (or higher) degree.
• Hold county substitute teacher certificate.
• Successfully undergo a criminal history check and proof of the U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
• Meet the health qualifications required of all personnel.
• Meets NJ residency requirements or willingness to relocate to NJ within 365 days of employment.
• Must follow the Camden County Technical Schools' Nepotism Policy, File Code: 0142.1.

Responsibilities

• Clerical Functions: File materials, maintain supplies, keep stock and inventory records, correct homework and tests, prepare instructional materials, maintain records.
• Managerial Functions: supervise students, set up and operate AV equipment, arrange learning areas, supervise cleanup, maintain classroom, assist with storage and feedback.
• Instructional Support: supervise activities, present materials, adapt content to student comprehension, support IEP fulfillment, ensure confidentiality, perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Two years of higher education (30+ credits) or Associate’s degree

County substitute teacher certificate

Criminal history check and U.S. citizenship or legal resident status

Health qualifications
