Prior Lake - Savage Area Schools seeks a Media Support staff member to run the school media center. You will help students and staff with reading and information needs, manage circulation, and maintain library resources.

Responsibilities include supervising students, shelving materials, processing new materials, and assisting with inventory and overdue notices while promoting a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in a library, media center, or educational setting preferred.
• Strong planning, organizational, and communication abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage circulation desk and process circulation of library resources.
• Assist with shelving and maintaining order of books and materials.
• Inventory and shelf new library materials and assist with overdue notices.
• Supervise students in the media center to ensure a safe, orderly environment.
• Assist users with reading and information needs across the school community.
• Collaborate with teachers to maximize media center resources.
