Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Associates degree preferred or 30 semester hours and/or one year of instructional experience is required if no associates degree.
• Experience working with children in instructional settings is preferred.
• Experience with computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, e-mail, and Internet is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist with information literacy and research skills for students.
• Support daily media center operations and catalog management.
• Provide orientation and training to student aides and volunteers.
• Help promote library resources and services to students and staff.
