Acelero Learning is seeking a Substitute Food Service Worker to prepare nutritious, culturally aware meals for children in our early education program. You will serve meals in family-style settings, ensure correct portions and temperatures, and follow USDA/CACFP guidelines while maintaining strong hygiene standards.

The role requires a high school diploma (ServSafe preferred) and background checks. This on-call position offers hourly pay and opportunities to contribute to a meaningful mission

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• ServSafe Certification is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares and serves family-style meals for children, volunteers, and staff at the assigned center.
• Delivers food at proper temperature and in correct amounts as ordered.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper storage using FIFO inventory.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment, maintains kitchen safety and hygiene.
• Keeps records of allergies and substitutions; updates substitution logs.
• Conducts physical inventory and provides attendance/weekly worksheets as needed.
• Maintains daily/monthly logs and safe environment for staff and children.

Educación

High school diploma or equivalent

ServSafe Certification preferred
