SLA is seeking a Food Service Worker Floater to support multiple school sites in preparing and serving meals. This full-time role requires travel between sites to assist daily kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness and smooth service.

You will follow recipes, uphold safety standards, and contribute to a positive dining experience for students and staff. Ideal candidates have reliable transportation, flexibility, and the ability to adapt quickly.

Formación

• Previous food service or cleaning experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to different locations daily.
• Strong work ethic, flexibility, and ability to adapt to changing needs.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Travel between school sites as scheduled to assist with daily kitchen operations.
• Prepare and serve food according to recipes, production records, and safety standards.
• Keep workspaces clean, organized, and safe.
• Restock serving areas such as food lines, salad bars, and milk boxes.
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries using FIFO practices.
• Serve meals to students, staff, and guests with a positive attitude.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks like sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
• Follow all health and safety regulations at each site.
• Step in to support kitchen teams or cover absences.
• Submit reports and complete assigned tasks on time.
• Take direction from Kitchen Managers and adjust quickly to new team dynamics
