Primrose School of Manhattan is hiring a School Kitchen & Facilities Assistant to support both kitchen and operations teams and maintain a clean, safe environment for children and staff.

You'll assist the Chef with plating, oversee deliveries, handle front desk tasks, and help with light administrative duties. This full-time role offers a steady day schedule and opportunities for training and growth within a caring team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Food Handler’s Certificate required.
• CPR / First Aid certification preferred.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to teamwork.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and support active school operations.

Responsabilités

• Kitchen Support: Assist the Chef with plating and delivering nutritious meals to classrooms and staff.
• Kitchen Support: Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization; wash dishes as needed.
• Kitchen Support: Check food deliveries, restock supplies, and ensure safety standards.
• Kitchen Support: Step in to support kitchen operations when the Chef is out.
• Facilities Support: Partner with the Facilities Coordinator to keep building safe and well-stocked.
• Facilities Support: Refill consumables and complete daily safety checks.
• Facilities Support: Maintain organization in the laundry room and assist with laundry rotation.
• Administrative & Classroom Support: Cover the front desk, greet families, and answer phones as needed.
• Administrative & Classroom Support: Assist teachers during lunch and break periods.
• Administrative & Classroom Support: Help with light administrative duties such as copying, filing, or setting up materials.
