Job summary

Lunchtime Solutions, Inc. is hiring a part-time Dishwasher to support meal service at Madison Elementary School. You will keep the dish room clean, wash dishes and equipment, and help maintain a safe, organized kitchen environment.

The position features a Monday–Friday daytime schedule (11am–2pm) and a collaborative team setting. Benefits include a free meal each shift and access to a 401(k) retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and twisting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Dependability and commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Keep the dish room running efficiently by washing dishes, trays, utensils, and equipment using proper sanitation methods.
• Support kitchen operations by assisting with general cleaning, organizing storage areas and chemicals, and helping with special events as directed.
• Maintain food-safety and sanitation standards by following SOPs, completing HACCP logs, and monitoring safety practices throughout the kitchen.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, school staff, and customers, and report equipment or supply issues promptly.
• Assist with inventory by replenishing supplies and alerting supervisors when stock is low or worn.
• Contribute to team success by helping train new team members and filling in for other kitchen duties as needed.
• Ensure proper storage by placing clean dishes and equipment in designated locations.
