Job summary

Lunchtime Solutions is seeking a Dishwasher to keep the kitchen running smoothly by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment and keeping the dish area clean and organized.

You'll work Monday–Friday daytime, with a focus on food-safety standards, efficient cleaning, and teamwork. This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and reliable, customer-focused service. A free meal is provided each shift.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, and other physical tasks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Keep the dish room running efficiently by washing dishes, trays, utensils, and equipment using proper sanitation methods.
• Support kitchen operations by assisting with general cleaning, organizing storage areas and chemicals, and helping with special events as directed.
• Maintain food-safety and sanitation standards by following SOPs, completing HACCP logs, and monitoring safety practices throughout the kitchen.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, school staff, and customers, and report equipment or supply issues promptly.
• Assist with inventory support by replenishing chemicals using proper PPE and alerting supervisors when supplies run low.
• Contribute to team success by helping train new team members and filling in for other kitchen duties across district locations when needed.
• Ensure proper storage by placing clean dishes and equipment in their designated locations.
