Whitsons Culinary Group in Massachusetts is seeking a School Cook to support our nutrition program. You will cook meals per school menus, maintain safety, and collaborate with a team in a fast-paced kitchen.

This full-time role offers a family-friendly schedule with days aligned to the school year, no nights or weekends, paid training, and benefits. Pay rate is $20 per hour with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; must complete all Whitsons and government-required training.
• Minimum 1 year of professional culinary or food service experience; school nutrition experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification required or must obtain within a defined timeframe after hire; local safety certification may be required.
• Ability to read English and follow recipes and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of meals according to school menus.
• Ensure all food is safely cooked and presented with care.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
• Work with team to serve meals in a timely, friendly manner.
• Support special dietary needs and food allergy safety procedures.
