Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic equipment operation and food-handling procedures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food per current standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure high-quality service.
• Follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, and serving foods.
• Taste, read menus, estimate requirements, check production, and requisition supplies and equipment.
• Significant walking or other mobility.
• Walk or stand for extended periods, potentially over 8 hours.
• Lift up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Perform repetitive motions.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time and with regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
