Whitsons is seeking a School Cook to fuel young minds with nutritious meals. Monday–Friday schedule; no nights or weekends; you’ll prepare meals from school menus and ensure safe, quality prep. High school diploma, ServSafe, and 1 year culinary experience preferred. You’ll work in a kitchen and serving line, maintain cleanliness, and support dietary needs while ensuring timely

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must complete all Whitsons and government required training as necessary
• ServSafe certification
• Local food safety certification, if required in jurisdiction of employment.
• Ability to speak and read English to perform job assignments.
• 1 year professional culinary experience required

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of meals according to school menus
• Ensure all food is safely cooked and presented with care
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
• Work with team members to serve meals in a timely, friendly manner
