Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, food preparation and general cleaning processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Washes objects by hand or with cleaning equipment.
• Cleans dishes, utensils, pots, pans etc. and stores them in assigned areas.
• Maintains products at proper levels in preparation, serving, or storage areas.
• Stocks storage areas with various products.
• Cleans, sweeps, and wipes down dining, kitchen, or storage areas and equipment.
• Removes garbage and sets up/breaks down tables, snack bars, display cases, and serving lines.
• Assists with large cleaning projects and coordinates activities with others.
• May prepare food or cook vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, or meats as needed.
• Performs other duties pertinent to the department.
