Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition is seeking an on-site Cook to assist in purchasing, preparing, and delivering nutritious meals for children, while maintaining sanitary kitchen standards. You will help manage inventory, records, and ensure FIFO practices.

You will work with a team to support Head Start programs, uphold safety procedures, and contribute to a positive learning environment for families across Oregon.

Qualifications

• Experience working in meal preparation and planning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of foods that are culturally and age appropriate.
• Purchase, preparation and inventory process.
• Maintain food service records and other documentation in compliance with USDA regulations.
• Deliver food service in a safe, healthy and timely manner to the classroom.
• Maintain FIFO system of food usage.
• Ensure proper temperature of food and overall food quality.
