Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus six months of experience in food service.
• Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to operate a cash register and POS terminal.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and portions hot and cold food as directed.
• Serves food to students and replenishes related items on the serving line.
• Assists in receiving and storing food and supplies.
• Maintains sanitary health standards in kitchen, serving, and dining areas.
• Operates the POS terminal and collects money.
• Maintains food usage and production reports; prepares daily orders.
• Supports Town policies and philosophies.
