Job summary

The Mansfield Public Schools Food Service is seeking a hardworking, reliable and motivated Food Service Assistant to join the E.O. Smith High School Food Service team.

The role includes food prep, scratch cooking, and cashiering, with a strong emphasis on detail and the ability to work independently. Hours are 30.0 hours per week, Monday through Friday, late August through end of June following the school calendar.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Flexibility and reliability in a school dining setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide general kitchen work including food prep, scratch cooking, and cashiering.
• Support the Mansfield Public Schools Food Service team at E.O. Smith High School.
