Job summary

Central DeWitt Community Middle School in DeWitt, IA is hiring a General Food Service Worker for 3 hours between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, following the school calendar for the remainder of the year.

Hours are 10:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. with a 3-hour shift and no lunch break; pay starts at $16.50 per hour. The role includes kitchen duties, basic cooking, and potential back-up for cashier and cook, with opportunities to support student wellness.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift heavy objects.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace on your feet for long periods.
• Must have tolerance of heat and humidity.
• Must have basic concept of working with food and have some food safety knowledge as well as good math skills.
• Backup for cashier and cook; flexible with hours.
