Qualifications

• Able to work at height and in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical school plant in a condition of operating excellence for full educational use.
• Assist in the safe condition of boilers, heaters, furnaces, exhaust fans, air handlers, air conditioners and chillers.
• Perform heating and cooling repair work in a timely manner.
• Perform routine maintenance of HVAC systems in District facilities.
• Provide cost estimates for heating and cooling repair projects.
• Inspect facilities for preventive maintenance and safety; grease motors, belts, coils, and filters.
• Stay abreast of new technologies through training.
• Read blueprints and schematics; demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
