Job summary

Campus Services Group is seeking a School Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe school environment. You will perform daily janitorial tasks across entryways, classrooms, cafeterias and restrooms, and work closely with staff and students.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm. Benefits include telemedicine, prescription discount, EAP, financial wellness, training and career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks consistently.
• Must be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to stand and walk 6–8 hours daily.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, as required by state/local/customers.
• Must provide a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial tasks in entryways, corridors, classrooms, cafeterias, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, sinks, floors, and commodes, replenishing lavatory supplies as needed.
• Remove trash, empty wastebaskets, and remove graffiti.
• Use cleaning solutions safely, adhering to all safety precautions.
• Report equipment or cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisors.
• Assist with event support and respond to paging systems promptly.
• Follow infection control and handwashing procedures to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Ensure customer service and cleaning standards are consistently met.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
