Job summary

The School/Home Coordinator at Seymour Elementary, for the 2026-2027 school year, will serve as the primary liaison between families and school staff, organizing family engagement activities and supporting attendance interventions.

The role also connects families with Genesee County and Flushing resources, maintains confidential records, and communicates via calls, emails, and meetings to support student progress.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, Family Studies, Education, or related field (preferred). High school diploma with equivalent relevant experience considered.
• Experience: 1–2 years working with children, families, or community support programs preferred.
• Key skills: Interpersonal, verbal and written communication; empathy and confidentiality; basic technology proficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience working with children, families, or community support programs in an educational or human services setting preferred.

Salary: $18.94
