University Health Partners of Hawai'i seeks a Hawaii Keiki Health Technician to coordinate school-wide health activities, promote wellness, and support nurse practitioners in both virtual and in-person visits. The role includes data collection, entry, and adherence to HIDOE protocols within school health rooms.

The position offers paid breaks and benefits; pay is billed at $22.25 per hour with non-summer schedule alignment and potential for continuing education support.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Patient Confidentiality laws (HIPAA).
• Vital sign measurement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate school-wide screenings with community partners and oversee data collection.
• Provide health education and promote wellness; assist with disease surveillance and data entry.
• Facilitate virtual and in-person visits with a HK Nurse Practitioner (APRN).
• Cover school health rooms following HIDOE protocol as requested and approved by HK supervisor.
