Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program.
• Associate Degree in Nursing with Texas RN licensure.
• Minimum three years nursing experience in community health, hospital, or school health; CPR/AED cert.
• Valid Texas Driver's License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assess student health status and identify acute, chronic and emergency needs.
• Administer medications per district guidelines and document care.
• Maintain confidential Student Health Records and health screenings.
• Develop individualized health plans for medically fragile students.
• Provide health instruction and collaborate with staff on health-related issues.
