Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a Certificate School Nurse to promote the health and safety of students. The ideal candidate will coordinate health services including screenings and immunization programs across the district. Responsibilities include assessing health needs, consulting with families, and maintaining accurate health records.

This position requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, relevant certification, and experience working with children. Regular travel between school sites is necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this role.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations related to school health services.
• Experience working with children and families in preventive nursing is required.
• Completion of all district-required trainings within thirty (30) days from hire date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct school health services, including mandated screenings and immunization programs.
• Consult with students, parents, and staff regarding health needs and services.
• Maintain current and accurate cumulative health care records.
