Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (BORN).
• Minimum Baccalaureate degree in nursing (accredited college or university).
• Minimum two (2) years supervised nursing experience.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification.
• Valid MA DESE Professional Support Personnel license.

Responsibilities

• Provides high quality nursing care to students and staff.
• Performs health screenings as requested.
• Coordinates referrals to private healthcare providers.
• Serves as a liaison between school personnel, family, and community healthcare providers to ensure a healthy school environment.
• Administers medication and medically prescribed procedures.
• Maintains up‑to‑date health records for students and staff.
• Collaborates with the school nurse team and other professionals to support student health needs.
