Job summary

Siloam Springs School District is seeking a Nurse Substitute to support campus health offices and student care across district schools. You will hold a current Arkansas nursing license and function under the direction of the Building Principal and Nursing Director.

Responsibilities include health assessment, planning and referral, administration of medications, first aid, immunization record keeping, and compliance with the Arkansas Nurse Practice Act and district policies.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Arkansas nursing license.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, intervenes and evaluates for student health needs across the district.
• Promotes health and prevents illness and injuries among students.
• Delivers direct and indirect care to students in accordance with policies, clinical standards and the Individual Health Care Plan.
• Complies with the Arkansas Nurse Practice Act, RN Code of Ethics, and district procedures.
• Manages Health Services office, administers medications, provides first aid, and maintains immunization records.
