Qualifications

• Experience in caring for children and adolescents, often in clinical or hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan health programs in coordination with the administrator.
• Conduct student health screenings to assess physical, mental, and emotional health.
• Administer medications to students per district policies.
• Coordinate health services information among home, school, and healthcare providers.
• Assist teachers in planning health curriculum and provide resources.
• Maintain health documentation and annual reports.
• Lead health initiatives and train staff in first aid and emergency preparedness.
• Supervise health assistants on site.
